foods while on the 10-day detox

Hi Brett. On your 10-day detox program, starchy foods are to be avoided. Can I include kumara, peas, corn on the cob as it is included in your checklist? Also, can i use organic low fat/trim milk or soy milk for the smoothie? Thanks very much.

Yes you can use of these. Its really the simple starches we want to avoid as they slow down the detox process because they are relatively low in fibre and can promote energy storage rather the burning of fat which releases toxins. Go for it on the corn on the cob. Its one of the best foods for the detox.
