Hi, i have just completed the prep stage of the diet, adn on day 1 of taking the herbal supplements. I am not feeling hungry at all which is great, but i am feeling extremely tired and quite weak. Also my muscles in my calves are quite sore. My partner says I should start eating meat again for Protein which should help, but I am not so sure. What are your thoughts to help me stay on the diet and feel healthy with it? Many thanks :-)

Yes you can experience a couple of days early in the detox process when you can feel washed out and weak. This is normal and is a bit like withdrawal symptoms. You don't need that much protein and if you eat mushrooms, eggplant, leafy greens, yoghurt and some milk you will get plenty. You are also welcome to have extra spirulina or protein powder to boost your protein levels. There are plenty of vegetarian athletes and body builders, so don't think you are starving yourself. You will be fine. Normally as soon as you have your first extra bowel movements you should start feeling great and energy should pick right up.
