Sprouts, superfood powder and coconut cream ok for the diet?

Easy Print

Hi Brett, I noticed that mung bean sprouts were included in the beetroot salad recipe on page 25 of the booklet, and seem to be an approved component of the detox diet. I've been vegan for a while now and really enjoy making my own sprouts at home which forms my main protein source. If mung beans are ok, how do you feel about sprouted chick peas, or any other home-sprouted pulses? I also have a superfood smoothie mixture of cacao, maca, mesquite and lucuma powders which is raw and certified organic – the brand is LifeFoods in Christchurch. Would this be ok to add to my smoothies on the detox? Also, would I be able to continue using coconut cream in smoothies as a vegan alternative to yoghurt? My last detox was 2 years ago and I had great results – looking forward to starting this up again. Thank you!
