Hi there Bret, My friend and I decided to do the detox together to support each other, then my husband decided to do it, later another friend decided to do it too! He is 3 days behind us. We are having text support and sharing experiences throughout! I was wondering if soy milk, coconut cream/milk, and balsamic vinegar are ok to have while on the herbal detox? I’m only on the 2nd day of taking the pills (after doing more the 3 days prep diet) and for the past couple days my lower back and legs have ached. I’m assuming this is nothing to worry about too much? I looked in you frequently asked questions section and have already been having ginger tea etc… I am curious why my lower back and legs might be hurting – is this just some kind of ‘healing cirisis’? Also, when I am at work trying to do complicated tasks on excel spreadsheets and my brain goes all mushy and I find myself wondering if I am doing the task correctly, is there any food you can recommend that might help make me feel a bit more with it at work? I had this experience on day one of the elimination diet and I go back to work tomorrow. I was wondering if having some tofu or extra protein might help me stay focussed and with it at work? Sorry lots questions. Cheers Rebecca
green tea
I’ve always thought green tea was better for you and also helped to cleanse the liver. Is it OK to drink it on the 25 day plan or should I try to cut down on this too? I do not drink any other caffinated drinks and drink fruit and herbal teas on top of about 3 cups of green tea a day.

I did not get the full benefits of the Detox – can you help
My Name is Lisa, I am 40 yrs old and my family and I have just finished your Detox yesterday. I was expecting to ‘have a real clean out’ but was dissapointed to find that I was going only once a day (my best day was twice!) My husband Tom, 47yrs would easily go anything up to 6 times a day. My daughter Steph, 20 yrs would go 2-4 times. We follwed the program to the letter, including the 3 days before and after, epsom salts etc… Brought a jucier and had fresh vege and fruit juice daily. I normally have a sluggish system and will go up to 2 days without a bowel movement, so was excited about doing the detox to cleanse my system. After day 6, I was concerned that I was not seeing any difference or additional ‘movement’ so I went to my local health store for some advise. They suggested that I took an extra Gentle Lax pill a day to try and assist. I also started taking 10+ prunes daily. I was putting a spoonful of whey powder in my morning smoothie, but stopped that from day 7. Why did I not experience the benefits that your detox describes? Can you suggest what I do from here? I would like to have something that will help me be more regular on a daily basis.

If herbal detox is right for me?
Firstly I have gall stones, lots of small ones and one bigger one. I have had an ultra sound and they say they are all floating so won’t need an operation. I often feel sick after eating, have acid burn and reflux which I take losec for. Bowels movements are often regular but seem to have alot of wind and bad breath on and off, which I have never had before. I am 49 years old.

I have loved the detox, I am on the final day – I have been entirely strict (bar some black pitted olives) I have felt great from doing it, my energy levels have been better than they have in years – but 3 key things haven’t happened – I don’t seem to have lost much weight, (I’m a stone over weight) I have not noticed any of the plaque being eliminated and my skin has not cleared up as I had hoped… Should I take the final 30 capsules that are left and continue the detox for 3 more days to try and achieve the results I had hoped for? If I do do that… how detrimental would it be to eat either nuts, cheese or smoked salmon on those 3 days? Or is that defeating the whole object?! It’s just that those are the three things I am really looking forward to eating in the next couple of days!! Many thanks, for your advice and your great product… xx
