A fresh cream special! If you are missing meat, this is a great alternative!
Serves 2 people
- 1 white onion
- 1 teaspoon cayenne
- 6-8 garlic cloves or (1 tsp crushed garlic)
- 300g mixed organic mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1Tsp Mixed herbs
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 100ml Fresh cream
- Small bunch parsley
- 2 stalks of spring onion
Heat oil in a pan, chop onions and sauté for 2 minutes stirring in garlic and cayenne for 30 seconds.
Chop mushrooms throw into pan with butter and cook on high for 5 minutes stirring regularly.
Pour in the mixed herbs and Worcestershire sauce, then lower the heat and stir in the cream and 1/2 of the spring onions.
Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Serve with sprinkled parsley and/or finely chopped spring onions. Can eat with brown rice on 1 or 2-month program.
